Samara Bowser is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina. Samara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of North Carolina and Virginia. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Social Work. She currently works as the owner and CEO of a private practice providing individual and family counseling to children, adolescents, teens, and adults with a specific focus in Trauma-Informed Interventions. Samara also works as an Adjunct Professor at North Carolina Central University and a school social worker at a middle school in Durham, North Carolina. Samara's clinical work began in 2006 working in a community mental health agency along with stakeholders and school-based settings providing therapeutic interventions and case management to individuals with mental health challenges that negatively impacted their ability to function in school and community settings. Samara has a heart to serve the community and work with individuals and families to allow them to become self-sufficient and function at their BEST and maximum capacities in their home, schools, work, and community settings.
